Girls basketball: Eugene 64, Calvary 48

The Eugene Lady Eagles used a huge second quarter to propel them to a 64-48 win at Calvary Lutheran on Monday.

The Lady Lions led 14-8 after one quarter but the Lady Eagles used a 24-6 scoring edge in the second to go into the locker room up 32-18. Eugene outscored Calvary 22-16 in the third quarter to lead 54-34 going into the final stanza.

Lexi Dickerson pumped in a game-high 28 points to lead Eugene to the victory. Allison Isenberg chipped in with 17 points.

Rebecca Thompson had 16 points, five steals and three assists to lead Calvary in each category. Brooke Rollins posted a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Also for Calvary, Maci Steen added 11 points and Allsion Proctor added four steals.

Calvary (6-9) will host Malta Bend on Friday.
