UNION, Mo. - The St. Francis Borgia Lady Knights got a layup at the buzzer to pull out a 37-36 win against Helias in the championship game of the Lady Cat Invitational.
The bucket completed a big comeback for Borgia. Helias held a 16-2 lead after one quarter and was us 23-10 at halftime, but trailed 28-27 after three quarters.
Borgia, the fourth-ranked team in Class 4, had a lead late in the fourth until Ashley Rehagen canned a 3-pointer with :09 left to give Helias a 36-35 lead. But the Lady Knights got the winning bucket soon after.
Molly Sandbothe and Molly Light were named to the All-Tournament Team for Helias.
