The Calvary Lutheran Lions had plenty of reasons to celebrate Friday night.
The first reason was Homecoming, and the Lions made sure it would be a happy one, ripping Climax Springs 75-51.
The second and third were a pair of impressive individual performances by seniors.
The first came from Beau Monson, who set the school's single-game scoring record by pumping in 35 points. He made 13 field goals that included a pair of 3-pointers, and hit 7-of-8 free throws. For good measure, he narrowly missed a double-double by handing out nine assists.
Fellow senior Hance Sommerer did record a double-double, as he scored 12 points and also ripped down 10 rebounds.
Calvary led 20-7 after one quarter and increased it to 38-19 at halftime. The advantage was 55-33 after three periods.
Calvary (7-8) will host Malta Bend on Friday.
