Man gets 25 years in prison for killing delivery driver

CLAYTON, Mo. (AP) - A man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison in the killing of a 39-year-old pizza delivery driver in suburban St. Louis.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch (http://bit.ly/1AsXUro) reports that Earon Anthony Rivers was sentenced Friday in St. Louis County Circuit Court for second-degree murder, first-degree robbery and two counts of armed criminal action.

Police said three pizzas and a cellphone were taken from Imo's driver Brian W. Johnson after he was killed in November 2012 in Dellwood. Court documents say Rivers, then 17, had called in the pizza order to set up the robbery.

Rivers was caught in a house with the empty pizza boxes and the murder weapon.
