CALIFORNIA, Mo. - The Southern Boone Lady Eagles raced out to a 30-18 halftime lead and cruised to a 60-46 win against the California Lady Pintos in Friday's fifth-place game of the California Tournament.
The Lady Eagles led 12-6 after one quarter, pushed the edge to 12 points by intermission and led 40-29 heading into the final quarter.
Erin Griffin scored 14 points to lead Southern Boone (5-8) and Emma Anderson had 11.
Cameron Meyer and Elizabeth Lutz scored 14 points apiece for California (7-6).
The Lady Pintos will host Hallsville on Monday.
