Probation for selling drugs

A Jefferson City man was placed on five years supervised probation for pleading guilty to two counts of selling cocaine.

Michael Collins, 30, of 5431 South Brooks Drive, admitted to selling the drug in May and August of 2011.

A third count was dismissed.

As part of his probation, Collins must successfully completely treatment.

Court documents show the sales occurred at a parking in the 5200 block of South Brooks as part of an undercover operation.

Collins sold anywhere from .78 grams up to 2.80 grams of cocaine and was paid as much as $200 each time.

Each time, the substance he sold tested positive for cocaine.
