Local woman gets probation for drugs

A Jefferson City woman has been placed on two years unsupervised probation for pleading guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia last year.

Court records show Sasha Drumm, 28, of 1732 Tanner Bridge Road, must also complete 100 hours of community service.

Two counts of endangering the welfare of a child were dismissed.

A Jefferson City Police Department probable cause statement shows officers were called to Drumm's residence on April 5 for a heroin overdose.

Drumm was the tenant of the residence and the overdose victim was a guest.

Authorities said the overdose could have been fatal if not for emergency medical attention at the scene.

Heroin was found on top of a gym bag.

Later, crack pipes and a hypodermic needle were found.

Drumm's 11-month-old baby girl was in the apartment at the time, and officers said the heroin and needle were accessible to the child.
