Boys Basketball: No. 1 Helias 71, No. 5 Moberly 49

MOBERLY, Mo. - No. 1 Helias had three players with double-digit points en route to a 71-49 defeat of No. 5 Moberly on Friday.

Moberly scored more than half its points in the first quarter, playing to a 25-18 lead. Helias led 34-30 at halftime and 48-38 entering the fourth quarter.

Isiah Sykes scored 23 for the Crusaders. Sam Husting had 11 points, and Adam Bax tallied 10 points, five rebounds and five assists.

The win was the Crusaders' seventh straight.

Helias (11-2) play at No. 4 Rolla on Friday.

The junior varsity Crusaders (4-3) won as well, by a score of 53-48. Freshmen Landon Harrison and Nathan Bax each scored 16.
