Firefighters were called early Friday to extinguish a blaze in Meta.
The Linn Fire Protection District responded around 12:30 a.m. to a residential structure fire at 303 N. Linn St. Flames were showing upon firefighters arrival. Firefighters from Osage Fire Protection District were called for mutual aid.
The fire was brought under control shortly after 1 a.m.
