Girls Basketball: South Callaway 37, Chamois 34

MOKANE - The South Callaway Lady Bulldogs used a strong second quarter to claim a 37-34 victory against the Chamois Lady Pirates on Tuesday.

South Callaway led 12-11 after the first quarter, but the Lady Bulldogs outscored Chamois 13-6 in the second to take a 25-17 lead into the break. The Lady Pirates pulled within five to open up the fourth quarter, but South Callaway held them off down the stretch.

Paige Nolte scored a game-high 16 points to lead Chamois.

The Lady Pirates (6-3) will play at Fatima at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
