SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Jacob Schulte finished fifth for the Helias Crusaders in the Kinloch Classic hosted by Parkview High School that concluded Saturday.
Schulte finished 4-2 in the two-day event, including a 7-3 victory against Danny McCarthy of St. James in the fifth-place match at 145 pounds.
Helias finished 15th in the final team standings with 180.5 points. Willard topped the 24-team field with 434.5 points, while Lee's Summit West was second at 425.5 and Raymore-Peculiar third at 423.
Other top-eight finishers for the Crusaders included Mason Field (seventh at 195), Cole Hazelhorst (eighth at 152) and Logan Distler (eighth at 160).
Helias is back in action Tuesday at Battle High School.
