Girls Basketball: Russellville beats Vienna

RUSSELLVILLE, Mo. - The Russellville Lady Indians held Vienna to just four total points in the middle two quarters Saturday and defeated the Lady Eagles 48-32.

Vienna led 14-9 after the first quarter. But Russellville outscored Vienna 12-2 in the second quarter to take a 21-16 advantage into halftime.

It was a big third quarter for the Lady Indians, who had a 20-2 scoring bulge and led 41-18 with one period remaining.

Justice Miller finished with 16 points for Russellville. McKendra Fischer and Adrianna Basnett chipped in with 10 points each.

Russellville (2-6) will play Monday at New Bloomfield.
