CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Sam Husting scored 15 points after going 5-for-5 from the 3-point line as the Helias Crusaders claimed a 55-38 win against Cape Girardeau Central on Friday.
Collin Caywood finished with 11 points to help lead Helias, which picked up its fifth straight victory. Adam Bax added nine points and seven rebounds, while Isiah Sykes added nine points and seven assists for the Crusaders.
Helias led 9-8 after the first quarter, 20-11 at halftime and 43-22 after three quarters.
The Crusaders (9-2) will host Sedalia Smith-Cotton at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
In the JV game, Helias suffered a 48-38 loss.
Landon Harrison scored 15 points and Jake Burnett added nine points to lead the Crusaders (2-3).
