Dear Editor:
I wish I knew what really motivates the "Climate Change" chicken littles of our country. Are they just liberals who are trying to live up to the observation that "they have never met a tax they didn't like?" Or are they trying to see that our energy sector be nationalized and destroyed like Obamacare is doing to the best medical system in the world? Or is it just another step in the process to destroy our sovereignty and reduce our country to just another third world country for fairness? Or maybe it's for a larger goal to create a New World Order that is the utopian dream of all the liberal "wizards of smart?"
I cannot believe the rhetoric in Mr. Laur's letter. Who in the world believes that this totally inefficient and corrupt administration could ever create and maintain a revenue-neutral carbon fee? By the way did you notice the deceptive terminology of "fee" versus "tax" or how about "dividend?"
Does that sound like "you can keep your doctor" or that Obamacare will save $2500/year in medical insurance? How about Social Security? Wasn't it supposed to be self sustaining on exactly the same concept of revenue-neutrality? Give me a break. Let's not prove Jonathan Gruber right. The American people are not stupid and one way we can prove it is by not getting suckered in on this scam like we did on Obamacare.

Who should one believe? Scientists who do not see climate change as a major concern or a poll of Missourians who, depending on the question asked and what their ideology is can be manipulated to whatever the poll taker wants as a result? Another poll ( www.gallup.com/poll/167843/climate-change-not-top-worry.aspx ) result has only 24 percent of Americans say they worry about climate change a great deal and is near the bottom of a list of 15 issues Americans rated in the March 20 survey.
Obama has two more years of self imposed and unchecked dictatorial powers whereby he will be able to do whatever he wants. I just hope we citizens and the politicians will stand up against getting it stuck to us just like we did with Obamacare and immigration.
