RUSSELLVILLE, Mo. - The Tipton Lady Cardinals are moving on to the Class 2 state tournament.
Tipton won the Class 2 District 8 Tournament title Friday night with a 66-55 victory against the New Bloomfield Lady Wildcats.
Tipton (27-1) will face the District 7 winner at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday at Fleming Fieldhouse. The District 7 title will be decided this afternoon in Salisbury when Harrisburg (15-10) meets Sweet Springs (18-9).
