A total of 58 area players were named Academic All-State recently by the Missouri High School Volleyball Coaches Association.
To be eligible, players had to have a 3.6 cumulative GPA and have played in 75 percent of the team's varsity matches this season.
Here are the honorees for the various area schools:
• Blair Oaks - Maddie Abbott, Lanie Berhorst, Ryan Dudenhoeffer, Kellie Fredendall, Kallie Kerperin, Shelbi Koelling, Allison Maxwell, Paige Rackers, Rebecca Schroeder and Sadie Turner.
• California - Kayla Allison, Emma Bailey, Morgan Henley, Cameron Meyer and Adrienne Strickfaden.
• Eldon - Grace Baucom, Bailey Dunham, Melinda Groves, Macey Imler, Sidney Prater and Logan Reed.
• Fatima - Shaina Boehm, Tara Buthod, Paige Groner, Emily Keilholz, Courtney Kempker, Haley Luebbering, Emily Muenks and Megan Werdehausen.
• Helias - Blake Berhorst, Megan Brown, Ashley Dudenhoeffer, Maddie Dunkmann, Abby Farrow, Clarissa Fennessey, Lindsey Griggs, Erica Haslag, Suzie Kuensting, Molly Sandbothe and Laura Schieber.
• Linn - Courtney Brandt, Shelbie Jaegers, Makayla Koenigsfeld and Taylor Scheulen.
• Southern Boone - Katy Andrews, Katie Bauer, Skyler Beeson, Madison Cundiff, Gloria Farmer, Grace Farmer, Kailey Goodrich, Sydney Jones, Janae King and Emma McGuire.
• Versailles - Maddy Hibdon, Olivia Heisler, Ali Lent and Lendie Nolting.
