RUSSELLVILLE - A monster game from Sam Gunn couldn't stop Calvary Lutheran's season from coming to a close, as the Lady Lions fell 69-40 to Iberia in the first round of the Class 2 District 8 Tournament.
Gunn racked up 15 points and pulled down a whopping 17 rebounds to pace Calvary.
Rebecca Thompson chipped in with 10 points for the Lady Lions, while Brooke Rollins dished out three assists.
Iberia led 21-14 after one quarter, 40-25 at halftime and 50-35 after three quarters.
Calvary ends its season with a record of 8-13.
