INDEPENDENCE, Mo. (AP) - A child is among three people injured in a house fire in the Kansas City suburb of Independence.
The Kansas City Star (http://bit.ly/1DJ0rCQ ) reports that the fire was reported about 12:15 p.m. Saturday. Two adults were taken to a hospital, and the child was taken to Children's Mercy Hospital with unspecified injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
