Charges will be filed in the Holts Summit explosive device investigation.
Tonight, the Holts Summit Police Department will announce charges and arrests related to the investigation, which began last month after an explosive device was discovered inside a mailbox in the 200 block of Venus Street in Holts Summit.
An area resident contacted the Jefferson City Crime Stoppers with information for investigators, according to a Holts Summit Police Department press release.
Holts Summit's investigator, with assistance from a Federal Postal Inspector from the St. Louis office of the United States postal Service, followed up on the resident's anonymous tip.
The Holts Summit Police Department will announce more details about the investigation tonight.
