Missouri to play in Hall of Fame Classic this November

The Missouri men's basketball team will compete with North Carolina, Northwestern and former Big 12 foe Kansas State in the 2015 CBE Hall of Fame Classic, the National Association of Basketball Coaches announced Tuesday. The tournament will be held Nov. 23-24 in the Sprint Center in Kansas City.

This will mark the third straight season the Tigers have played a game at the Sprint Center. The Tigers last competed in the tournament in November 2011, defeating Notre Dame and California to win the CBE Classic.

"It's an honor for our Missouri program to be a part of the 2015 CBE Hall of Fame Classic," Missouri coach Kim Anderson said in the press release. "It's a great grouping of schools that are involved. The CBE is an excellent chance to play in Kansas City, where we have so many loyal Tiger fans. It will also be a great road trip for our fans from around the state and nation."

Semifinal games will be played Nov. 23, and the consolation and championship games will be played Nov. 24. All games will be broadcast on ESPN networks, and the complete schedule will be announced at a later date.
