Woman injured in one-vehicle accident

A Morrison woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 1:47 p.m. Monday on Route N, north of Route J in Osage County.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol report, a 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche, driven southbound by Carla S. Stephan, 49, lost control on the snow-covered road and went off the right side of the road, striking a tree and overturning.

Stephan was taken to Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.

She was not wearing a seat belt.

A Versailles man was arrested after a two-vehicle accident Tuesday morning in Morgan County.

Patrol reports show Todd Stenzel, 52, was arrested for driving while suspended and DWI.

The accident occurred at 11:20 a.m. on Missouri 52, just east of the Versailles city limits.

Nikki Potts, 19, of Tipton, was going east on Missouri 52 and followed by Stenzel when Potts abruptly stopped in traffic. Stenzel then struck the rear of Potts' vehicle.

Potts and a passenger in Stenzel's vehicle, Sandra Nash, 55, of Versailles, were treated for minor injuries.

Stenzel had no reported injuries.

All involved were wearing seat belts.
