Murray State clinches OVC with 94-92 OT win over SE Missouri

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP) - T.J. Sapp made three free throws to force overtime and Murray State rallied Saturday night to beat Southeast Missouri 94-92, winning its 21st in a row and the Ohio Valley Conference title.

Jarekious Bradley split a pair of free throws to give Southeast Missouri an 85-82 lead with 7.9 seconds remaining in regulation. Sapp was then fouled on his 3-point attempt with 2 seconds left, and sank all three free throws to force overtime.

Southeast Missouri led 92-91 with 45 seconds left in overtime. Tyler Rambo made a pair of free throws to give the Racers a one-point lead. Murray State's Wayne Langston then forced a turnover. Sapp was fouled and made a free throw to make it 94-92 with 16 seconds left.

Bradley's jumper hit the rim to end it.

Cameron Payne led Murray State (23-4, 13-0) with 26 points. Nino Johnson had 25 for Southeast Missouri (12-14, 6-7).
