Hickman girls roll past Helias, 55-26

COLUMBIA - The Hickman Kewpies used an 18-2 run to close the first half Thursday on their way to a 55-26 win against the Helias Lady Crusaders.

Helias led 10-8 after one quarter before Hickman, ranked No. 1 in Class 5, took a 26-14 lead into halftime. The Kewpies led 43-18 after three quarters.

Molly Light finished with seven points to lead Helias, which was 9-of-43 from the field. Molly Sandbothe pulled down 10 rebounds for the Lady Crusaders (13-9), who will host Father Tolton at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Emily Miller finished with 23 points to lead Hickman.
