AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - Nina Davis scored 15 of her 20 points in the second half, helping third-ranked Baylor beat Texas 70-68 on Sunday for its 21st straight victory.

Davis also blocked a driving shot by Brooke McCarty just before the final buzzer to preserve the victory.

Guard Niya Johnson added 17 points for Baylor (22-1 11-0 Big 12), one more than forward Imani Wright. Center Kelsey Lang led Texas with 20 and 11 rebounds. Guard Brady Sanders scored 14.

Davis grabbed an offensive rebound and made a put-back with 3:55 remaining to give Baylor a nine-point lead.

But Texas (15-7, 4-7 Big) closed in on the Lady Bears with back-to-back 3-pointers by McCarty and Sanders, the latter cutting the deficit to four with 1:17 remaining.

Then Johnson turned the ball over, leading to a short bank shot by Texas' Brianna Taylor that left Baylor leading by two points.

No. 4 NOTRE DAME 89, BOSTON COLLEGE 56

BOSTON (AP) - Michaela Mabrey hit six 3-pointers and finished with a career-high 20 points, and Notre Dame beat Boston College for its ninth straight win.

Jewell Loyd added 13 points , Kathryn Westbeld scored 12 points, and Madison Cable had 11 points and eight rebounds for the Fighting Irish (23-2, 10-1 Atlantic Coast Conference).

It was the 850th all-time victory for Notre Dame, making it the 26th Division I program to reach that mark.

Emilee Daley scored a career-best 18 points and Katie Quandt had 10 for Boston College (10-13, 2-8). The Eagles were without second-leading scorer Nicole Boudreau, who was suspended for the game for violating team rules. The guard averages 12.2 points.

The Irish led by 27 points at halftime and played their reserves for much of the second half.

No. 5 MARYLAND 59, No. 19 NEBRASKA 47

COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) - Lexie Brown scored 14 points to help Maryland extend its winning streak to 15 games with a victory over Nebraska.

Brionna Jones had 12 points and 9 rebounds for the Terrapins, who are riding their longest winning streak since going 16-0 to start the 2011 season. Malina Howard also finished with 12 points for Maryland (21-2, 12-0 Big Ten).

Nebraska (17-6, 7-5) was playing without junior guard and leading scorer Rachel Theriot, who missed her second straight game with an ankle injury. Theriot, a first-team All-Big Ten pick last season, is averaging 16.5 points per game.

No. 6 TENNESSEE 64, FLORIDA 56

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Isabelle Harrison scored 17 points and Jordan Reynolds added 13 to lift Tennessee to a win over Florida.

Tennessee (20-3, 10-0 Southeastern Conference) jumped out to an 11-4 lead in the first seven minutes - with all of the Lady Vols' points coming from Harrison - before Florida (11-12, 3-7) clawed its way back, making nine of its final 17 first-half shots and 6-of-8 free throw attempts to take a 30-28 lead into intermission.

The Gators extended that lead to five on two separate occasions in the second half before Tennessee went on a 21-6 run over 8:17 to take a 10-point lead with about five minutes to play. Five different UT players scored on the run, with Cierra Burdick leading the way with six points.

Cassie Peoples led the Gators with 18 points.

No. 7 OREGON STATE 61, WASHINGTON STATE 56

PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) - Sydney Wiese scored 16 points and Oregon State rallied to beat Washington State.

Jamie Weisner added 14 points and Deven Hunter 12 for Oregon State (21-2, 11-1 Pac-12), which was coming off a loss at Washington.

The Beavers trailed 21-5 early on before rallying to within one at the half. Washington State kept the slight advantage until Wiese hit her fourth 3-pointer of the game that gave Oregon State its first lead at 40-39 with 11:50 left.

Taylor Edmondson's jumper gave WSU a 44-43 lead, but Weisner's 3-pointer put the Beavers ahead 46-44. Oregon State scored six straight points for a 52-46 lead with 5:40 left.

Lia Galdeira scored 23 points for Washington State (13-10, 4-8), which has lost four straight games. The Cougars were done in by 32 percent shooting in the game.

No. 8 LOUISVILLE 48, PITTSBURGH 35

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Sara Hammond scored 11 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to help Louisville beat Pittsburgh.

Leading 34-32, Louisville held Pitt to one field goal and just three points in the final 7:26. It was a defensive struggle throughout as both teams converted less than 32 percent of their shots.

Shawnta' Dyer added 11 points and eight rebounds off the bench as Louisville (20-3, 8-2) rebounded from Monday's loss at No. 15 Duke.

Stasha Carey and Aysia Bugg each scored 10 points for Pitt (15-8, 5-5). Yacine Diop added eight points and 11 rebounds.

The Cardinals held Brianna Kiesel, Pitt's leading scorer at 18.5 points per game, to two points, her lowest outing of the season. The senior point guard hit just 1 of 13 shots and exited with a left wrist injury with 10:40 to play.

No. 9 FLORIDA STATE 80, MIAMI 60

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - Center Adut Bulgak had 19 points and 17 rebounds for her 12th double-double of the season, and No. 9 Florida State beat Miami for its ninth straight win.

Maegan Conwright added 13 points, and Shakayla Thomas and Leticia Romero each scored 12 for the Seminoles (22-2, 9-1 Atlantic Coast Conference). The Hurricanes (16-7, 6-4) came in with the ACC's top-ranked scoring defense at 56.4 points a game, but they surrendered 38 by halftime - the most in a half this season.

Miami was led by Jessica Thomas and Adrienne Motley with 14 points each.

CALIFORNIA 50, No. 10 ARIZONA STATE 49

TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - Penina Davidson hit a layup, her only points of the day, at the buzzer to lift California past Arizona State.

Katie Hempen hit a 3-pointer with 13.3 seconds left to put the Sun Devils ahead after they had rallied from a 14-point second half deficit.

Mikayla Cowling scored 16 points to lead the Bears, who won their seventh straight win since losing to the Sun Devils in Berkeley on Jan. 16.

Brittany Boyd added nine points and six rebounds and the Bears held Arizona State, the third-best shooting team in the league to 20-of-62 (32 percent) from the field.

Sophie Brunner had 10 points and nine rebounds to lead the Sun Devils, who were coming off an emotional 53-52 win over No. 12 Stanford on Friday.

No. 11 KENTUCKY 82, VANDERBILT 68

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Linnae Harper tied a career high with 22 points, Makayla Epps scored 18 and Kentucky beat Vanderbilt.

Kentucky (18-5, 7-3 SEC) had an 8-3 run to lead 76-63 with 1:10 left and twice extended to its largest lead of 16 points on consecutive trips to the foul line in the final 34 seconds.

The Wildcats used a 6-1 run to take control midway through the second half, stretching a three-point lead to 60-52 with nine minutes left. Vanderbilt (13-11, 4-7) got no closer than 62-56 to drop its eighth straight to Kentucky.

Rebekah Dahlman led the Commodores with 20 points. Heather Bowe and Morgan Batey added 12 apiece. Vanderbilt led by as many as seven in the first half.

ARIZONA 60, No. 12 STANFORD 57

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Candice Warthen scored seven points during Arizona's 10-0 run to close the game, and finished with 19, as the Wildcats beat Stanford to end its 25-game losing streak against the Cardinal.

Stanford, which lost at Arizona State on Friday, lost back-to-back Pac-12 Conference games for the first time since getting swept on its Los Angeles trip in January of 2008 and now have three conference losses for the first time since 2005-06.

The Wildcats (9-14, 2-10) trailed 30-18 at halftime but held the Cardinal (17-7, 9-3) without a field goal for almost 10 minutes to get back in the game.

No. 13 NORTH CAROLINA 74, VIRGINIA TECH 52

BLACKSBURG, Va. (AP) - Brittany Rountree scored 15 points to lead five players in double figures as No. 13 North Carolina rolled to a victory over Virginia Tech.

North Carolina (19-5, 6-4 ACC) bounced back after losing at No. 25 Syracuse, 61-56 on Thursday night. The Tar Heels led 36-33 at the break, opened the second half on a 20-6 run and cruised from there, forcing 27 Virginia Tech turnovers overall.

Samantha Hill scored 11 points, and Taijah Campbell had 10 points and 10 rebounds for Virginia Tech (10-14, 1-10), which has lost four straight and 10 of its past 11 games.

No. 17 MISSISSIPPI STATE 63, No. 14 TEXAS A&M 61, OT

STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) - Martha Alwal had 16 points and 10 rebounds Sunday, and Mississippi State scored the last six points of overtime to beat Texas A&M for its first-ever win over the Aggies.

Mississippi State (23-3, 8-3 SEC) took its first lead of overtime at 62-61 on Victoria Vivians' 3-pointer with 52 seconds left.

The Bulldogs' Savannah Carter grabbed the defensive rebound off Courtney Williams' missed jumper with 27 seconds left but lost her balance, falling out of bounds, giving the ball back to the Aggies.

Courtney Walker missed another jump shot for Texas A&M (18-6, 6-4) and Carter secured the rebound near midcourt. Carter made 1 of 2 free throws with 2.2 seconds left and Texas A&M was unable to get off a decent shot in the final seconds.

Morgan William added 15 points for the Bulldogs.

Walker led the Aggies with 25 points and Williams scored 14.

No. 15 DUKE 89, CLEMSON 60

DURHAM, N.C. (AP) - Elizabeth Williams had 21 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists as Duke cruised past Clemson for its fifth straight win.

It was Williams' seventh double-double of the season and 26th of her career. She was one assist shy of her second career triple-double.

Rebecca Greenwell hit three from distance and finished with 19 points for Duke (18-6, 9-2 ACC). She moved one 3-pointer shy of the freshman school record for makes.

Nikki Dixon led Clemson (9-15, 1-10) with 17 points, moving her into seventh place on Clemson's all-time scoring list.

No. 16 IOWA 87, WISCONSIN 75

MADISON, Wis. (AP) - Samantha Logic scored a career-high 30 points, including 13 in the game-breaking run, as Iowa raced to a win over Wisconsin.

The Hawkeyes (19-4, 10-2 Big Ten), leading 42-38 at halftime, opened the second half with a 19-2 run - with seven straight points from Logic. Then she had a 3-pointer and a three-point play before Whitney Jennings capped the run to make it 59-40.

Bethany Doolittle and Ally Disterhoft combined for 35 points, 28 in the first half, for Iowa.

Tessa Cichy had a career-high 20 points for the Badgers (8-14, 4-8).

No. 21 RUTGERS 57, MICHIGAN 50

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) - Betnijah Laney scored 17 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out seven assists as Rutgers held on to beat Michigan for its sixth straight victory.

Rutgers (18-5, 9-3 Big Ten) travels to conference leader, No. 5 Maryland, on Tuesday night.

Kahleah Copper added 16 points for Rutgers. Tyler Scaife, the Scarlet Knights leading scorer, was held to just six points on 3-of-11 shooting.

Smith scored 19 points and Siera Thompson chipped in 14 for Michigan (14-9, 6-6).

No. 24 GEORGE WASHINGTON 67, DAYTON 56

WASHINGTON (AP) - Jonquel Jones had 18 points and 18 rebounds for her 14th double-double of the season as George Washington beat Dayton for its 19th straight win.

George Washington trailed 17-14 before going on a 17-2 run, capped by Jones' 3-pointer. Jones had 12 points and seven rebounds in the first half as the Colonials built a 39-29 lead.

Caira Washington had 11 points and 10 rebounds for George Washington (21-2, 10-0 Atlantic 10), which is now tied for the second-longest winning streak in program history.

Both conference losses for Dayton (17-5, 8-2), the reigning regular-season A-10 champion, have come against GW.

No. 25 SYRACUSE 65, GEORGIA TECH 60

ATLANTA (AP) - Brianna Butler and Alexis Peterson had 14 points each and Syracuse beat Georgia Tech.

Syracuse (17-7, 7-4 ACC) secured the victory by making 5 of 6 free throws in the final two minutes.

Georgia Tech (14-10, 4-6) went on an 8-2 run in the final minute but never threatened as Kaela Davis' 3-pointer that cut the final margin to five came in the final second.

Briana Day added 12 points for the Orange, who took control with an 8-0 run to lead 50-35 on Peterson's basket with 13:22 left. The Yellow Jackets didn't get within single digits after that spurt until Zaire O'Neil's jumper made it 60-52 with 1:38 to go.

Davis had 18 points for Georgia Tech.
