Missouri women's basketball beats Auburn

COLUMBIA - Maddie Stock totaled career-highs in points and rebounds Sunday to lead Missouri to a 59-49 win against Auburn in Southeastern Conference play at Mizzou Arena.

Stock finished with 23 points and six rebounds for the Tigers (13-11 overall, 3-8 SEC).

Auburn, in search of its first conference victory of the season, led by as many as seven points in the first half and took a 26-23 advantage into intermission.

Auburn (9-15, 0-11) then opened the second half with a 5-0 run in the first minute to take its biggest lead of the game at 31-23. Missouri slowly climbed back into the contest, tying it at 42 with 11:07 left on a pair of Jordan Frericks.

Missouri then went on a 12-1 run to stretch its lead to double digits with just more than six minutes left.

Frericks had a double-double for Missouri, totaling 14 points and 11 rebounds. It's her fifth straight double-double.

Missouri is back in action Thursday at Alabama.
