ASHLAND, Mo. - The California Pintos claimed third place in the Southern Boone Classic with a 58-54 win against the Southern Boone Eagles on Saturday.
Jared Barr led three Pintos in double figures with 22 points. Landon Mouse added 15, while Drew Norton chipped in with 10.
California led 9-8 after one quarter and 24-16 at the half. It was 37-32 in favor of the Pintos heading into the final period.
California (17-2) will host Warsaw in a Tri-County Conference contest Tuesday night.
