3 arrested in drug raid at Holts Summit house

A narcotics search warrant in Holts Summit resulted in the arrest of three people - Bradley Higgins, Joan Ruthford and Paula Wilbers.

During a Monday search at 499 Perry Drive, officers with the Callaway County Sheriff's Office, Holts Summit Police Department and MUSTANG Drug Task Force allegedly found methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription medication and items of drug paraphernalia "associated with the ingestion of a controlled substance," according to a sheriff's office press release.

The release also states officers discovered items relating to the distribution of a controlled substance such as, but not limited to, packaging material (plastic baggies), digital scales and smoking devices.

Higgins was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also arrested for two felony outstanding warrants: probation violation for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and probation violation for possession of marijuana. His bond is set at $9,000.

Ruthford was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). Her bond is set at $4,500.

Wilbers was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). Her bond is set at $4,500.
