WARDSVILLE, Mo. -- Blair Oaks High School celebrated Winterfest Fantasy with the theme "A Night on the Boardwalk."
There were various themes for the days of the week. Monday was Game of Life: Dress to Impress; Tuesday was Tacky Tourist: The Tackiest Tourist Wins; Wednesday was Battle of the Sexes: Girls wear pink, boys wear blue; Thursday was Throwback to the '80s: Dress in crazy '80s attire; and Friday was Once a Falcon Always a Falcon: Wear green and white.
Other activities included: SHUSH Day, volleyball tournament, school assembly with coronation of underclassmen, a basketball game with the coronation of king and queen and a dance.
Winterfest royalty were: king Dominic Jamerson and and queen Jolie Duffner.
Duffner is the daughter of Paul and Sharon Duffner. She plays softball, is Student Council president, National Honor Society president, Spanish Club president and is in Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Her escort was Jamerson. He is the son of Londell and Monique Jamerson. He is in Spanish Club, plays football and is on the track team.
Freshman prince was Ethan Luebbering and princess as Sydney Wilde.
Sophomore prince was Cody Alexander. Princess was Katie Francis.
Junior prince was C.J. Closer. Princess was Angela Knaebel.
Other freshman candidates: Natalie Falotico, Parker Staggs, Kasey Kerperin and Justin Cobb.
Other sophomore candidates: Sarah Casey, Riley Boeckman, Vacyn Francis and Jake VanRonzelen.
Other junior candidates: Kallie Kerperin, Owen Luebbering, Jordan Hair and Payton Staggs.
