Capitol City Cinema, located at 126 E. High St., will present a free public screening of "Casual Encounters" at 7 p.m. today.
The comedy stars Taran Killam (Saturday Night Live) as Justin, whose girlfriend leaves him heartbroken after an embarassing public breakup. This prompts his friends to introduce him to the strange world of online dating.
The movie was written by Jefferson City native Erik Steinmentz and produced by fellow Mid-Missourians Cole Payne and Jeremy Loethen. The producers will be available for a question and answer session following the showing.
Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
