Cruz ups Missouri ballot choices to 11

Heidi Cruz's visit to Missouri Monday included a stop at Secretary of State Jason Kander's office in Jefferson City, filing her husband - U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas - as the sixth Republican on the March 15 Missouri Presidential Preference Primary ballot.

Filing for the primary began Dec. 1 and ends Dec. 29.

So far, five Democrats, six Republicans and no Libertarian or Constitution Party candidates have filed for that election - including some candidates whose names have not been well-publicized.

In the order their names will appear on the ballot, the Democrat candidates so far are Hillary Clinton, Henry Hewes, Rocky De La Fuente, Bernie Sanders and Keith Judd.

The Republicans who've filed so far, also in the order their names will appear on the ballot, are: Chris Christie, Jeb Bush, Ben Carson, Donald J. Trump, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz.

A complete list of filed candidates is available on the secretary of state's website, at www.sos.mo.gov/default.aspx?PageID=6474.
