SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) - Evgeni Malkin had a goal and two assists and Phil Kessel scored twice to help the Pittsburgh Penguins get their first win in San Jose in more than 18 years, 5-1 over the Sharks on Tuesday night.
David Perron added a goal and an assist and Matt Cullen also scored for the Penguins, who had lost 10 straight at the Shark Tank. Pittsburgh had gone winless in 12 games here since beating San Jose 5-2 on Oct. 22, 1997, garnering only one tie during the skid.
Marc-Andre Fleury made 33 saves to help Pittsburgh get off to a strong start on a four-game road trip.
Patrick Marleau scored for the Sharks, who have lost two of three at home following a perfect six-game road trip. Martin Jones made 24 saves.
KINGS 2, CANUCKS 1, OT
LOS ANGELES (AP) - Anze Kopitar scored on a pass from Jeff Carter 2:02 into overtime, and Los Angeles rallied for the victory.
Drew Doughty scored the tying power-play goal early in the third period for the first-place Kings, who won for the sixth time in nine games. Los Angeles won its fourth straight home game on a beautiful finish by Kopitar, who scored his eighth goal of the season.
Jonathan Quick made 15 saves for the Kings, who outshot the Canucks 18-1 in the third period and overtime.
Backup goalie Jacob Markstrom made 39 saves in a standout effort for the Canucks, who lost in extra time for the NHL-worst eighth time this season.
FLAMES 4, STARS 3, OT
CALGARY, Alberta (AP) - Sean Monahan had the clinching goal in the shootout and two assists in regulation, helping Calgary to the win.
Monahan's shootout goal was the last of three on Antti Niemi, with Joe Colborne and Johnny Gaudreau also finding the net.
The Flames trailed 3-0 after two periods.
Patrick Sharp scored in the shootout for the Stars, who were eliminated on Monahan's goal because Tyler Seguin hit the post on Dallas' initial shot.
Gaudreau, Mikael Backlund and Dougie Hamilton scored in regulation for Calgary, which kicked off a five-game homestand with its fifth win in a row at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
Jason Spezza, Cody Eakin and Mattias Janmark scored for the Stars, who are tied with Montreal for the most points in the NHL.
WILD 2, BLACKHAWKS 1
CHICAGO (AP) - Ryan Suter poked in a rebound with 7:56 left in the third period, lifting the Wild to the road win.
After Chicago's Corey Crawford made an acrobatic right pad save on Mikael Granlund on a breakaway, Granlund missed on a rebound attempt. Suter then cruised to the net and buried a loose puck that was dangling near the goal line.
Chicago forward Patrick Kane scored a power-play goal at 5:21 of the second period to extend his point streak to 20 games. Kane has 12 goals and 20 assists during the longest such run for a U.S.-born player.
Jason Pominville also scored for Minnesota, which snapped a three-game losing streak.
Minnesota's Devan Dubnyk made 30 saves in his 14th start in 15 games.
PREDATORS 5, COYOTES 2
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Filip Forsberg had two goals and an assist, helping Nashville rally for the win.
Calle Jarnkrok, Mike Ribeiro, and James Neal also scored for the Predators, who stopped a two-game losing streak. Shea Weber had three assists.
Arizona had won three in a row. Oliver Ekman-Larsson and Kyle Chipchura scored for the Coyotes, who carried a 2-1 lead into the third period.
Nashville lost center Mike Fisher at 7:56 of the second period to a lower-body injury. In the Arizona zone, Martin He left the ice without putting any weight on his right leg.
PANTHERS 3, BLUES 1
ST. LOUIS (AP) - Derek MacKenzie scored twice in Florida's third consecutive win.
Brandon Pirri also scored for the Panthers, and Roberto Luongo made 29 saves.
David Backes scored for the Blues. Jake Allen made 12 saves in two periods, and Brian Elliott made eight stops in the third.
It's the first three-game win streak of the season for Florida, which opened a five-game trip with a 2-1 overtime victory at Detroit on Sunday.
The Blues had won six straight games against the Panthers.
RED WINGS 5, SABRES 4, SO
DETROIT (AP) - Brad Richards scored on Detroit's third attempt in a shootout, leading the Red Wings to the victory.
Justin Abdelkader's second goal with 6:29 to go in regulation pulled the Red Wings into a 4-all tie after they blew a pair of two-goal leads and a one-goal advantage in the third.
Buffalo's Evander Kane scored his second goal of the game in the opening minute of the third. Zach Bogosian had a go-ahead score 1:29 later for the Sabres.
Linus Ullmark made 42 saves for the Sabres. Detroit's Petr Mrazek stopped 28 shots.
FLYERS 4, SENATORS 2
OTTAWA, Ontario (AP) - Sean Couturier had an empty-net goal and two assists, leading Philadelphia to its third straight win
Wayne Simmonds, Shayne Gostisbehere and Evgeny Medvedev also scored for the Flyers, and Steve Mason had 23 saves.
Zach Smith and Mike Hoffman scored for Ottawa, and Craig Anderson made 29 stops. The Senators have dropped two straight after winning four in a row.
CANADIENS 2, BLUE JACKETS 1
MONTREAL (AP) - Max Pacioretty scored a power-play goal in the third period, helping Montreal get the win.
Mike Condon got the start in place of Montreal star Carey Price, who is expected to miss at least six weeks with a lower-body injury. He stopped 22 shots for his ninth win.
Paul Byron scored his third goal for the Canadiens 2:51 into the game. Nick Foligno tied it at 17:23 of the first.
It stayed that way until Pacioretty, with Scott Hartnell in the box for tripping, scored his team-leading 13th goal of the season at 17:51 of the third.
Sergei Bobrovsky made 24 saves for Columbus.
AVALANCHE 2, DEVILS 1
NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - Matt Duchene scored again for Colorado, and Reto Berra made 27 saves.
Duchene had a franchise-record 11 November goals, and picked up right where he left off on the first day of December. He opened the scoring at 2:10 of the second period with a shot from the right circle that hit Devils goalie Cory Schneider in the left arm and trickled into the net.
Tyson Barrie also scored for Colorado, which improved to 8-0-1 in its last nine games against the Devils.
Kyle Palmieri scored for New Jersey, and Schneider made 23 stops.
