EUGENE - Kenzie Guese dropped in a game-high 26 points to lead top-seeded St. James to a 70-30 win against eighth-seeded Russellville in the opening round of the Eugene Tournament on Monday.
St. James led 19-9 after one quarter, 35-19 at halftime and 61-27 after three quarters.
McKendra Fischer paced Russellville with eight points.
Russellville (0-2) will play Tuscumbia on Wednesday in a loser's bracket semifinal contest.
