TIPTON - Chamois defeated Macks Creek 42-30 on Monday in the first round of the Tipton Tournament.
Haley Scaggs led Chamois with 16 points, and Michaela Nolte had 14.
The Lady Pirates trailed 9-7 after one quarter, and led 19-16 at half and 32-25 after three quarters.
Shelby Willis scored 14 for Macks Creek.
Chamois (2-0) plays Tipton at 4:30 Thursday in the tournament semifinals.
