BARTLESVILLE, Okla. - The William Woods Owls wrapped up the Oklahoma Wesleyan University Tournament with a pair of wins Saturday.
In the first match of the day, the Owls beat Langston 25-16, 27-25, 25-15 thanks to the first collegiate double-double by Brittney Engelbrecht.
Engelbrecht (Helias High School) racked up teams highs in both kills (12) and assists (18), and she also contributed six digs.
Also for the Owls, Tori Wiley (Helias High School) had one kill, one ace, one dig and two blocks.
William Woods then beat Manhattan Christian College 25-19, 25-19, 25-21.
Engelbrecht had a whopping 38 assists and also added two kills, one ace, four digs and one block. Wiley had one dig.
The Owls (2-1) are off until they play in the Bellevue (Neb.) University Tournament on Friday and Saturday.
