TORONTO (AP) - Michael Bradley and Jozy Altidore scored and Toronto FC beat the Montreal Impact 2-1 on Saturday to match their franchise season record with 11 victories.
Toronto (11-10-4) also won 11 games last year when it went 11-15-8. It has nine games left - seven at home - as its pushes for a first playoff berth.
Montreal fired coach Frank Klopas early Sunday and said assistant Mauro Biello will take over on an interim basis. The Impact (8-11-5) earned only 11 of a possible 33 points in their last 11 outings - a 3-6-2 stretch that started with a 3-1 loss in Toronto on June 24.
The 48-year-old Klopas was in his second season with Montreal after coaching the Chicago Fire from 2011-13. Montreal was 6-18-10 last year in MLS play.
Bradley opened the scoring in the 35th minute with his fourth goal of the season. Altidore connected in the 55th, hammering in a rebound for his 10th goal after Jonathan Osorio hit the post. Altidore has three goals in the last two games, all coming off the bench.
Former Toronto striker Dominic Oduro scored for Montreal in the 74th minute.
REVOLUTION 1, UNION 0
CHESTER, Pa. (AP) - Diego Fagundez became the youngest player to score 25 career MLS goals and New England beat Philadelphia for its third straight victory.
Fagundez, who is 20 years, 6 months, 15 days old, signed with the Revolution on Nov. 15, 2010, and is in his fifth MLS season.
The Revolution (10-9-7) scored in the 51st minute when Charlie Davies flicked a leading pass to Fagundez, who drove to the top of the area and cut it back inside the left post.
Referee Chris Penso showed Cristian Maidana a red card for violent conduct in the 94th minute.
The Union dropped to 7-13-6.

NEW YORK (AP) - Justin Meram scored in the 83rd minute and Columbus beat New York City FC to move into second place in the Eastern Conference.
The Crew (11-8-8) capitalized on a takeaway near midfield, leading to an opening for Meram up the left side. His shot rolled through a couple of defenders and bounced home off the inside of the far post.
Federico Higuain opened the scoring with a hard-bouncing header off Wil Trapp's corner in the 10th minute. Andrew Jacobson tied it for NYCFC (7-13-7) in the 20th minute with a long blast.
DYNAMO 2, WHITECAPS 0
HOUSTON (AP) - Ricardo Clark and Raul Rodriguez scored and Houston beat short-handed Vancouver to snap a three-game winless streak.
Erick Torres deflected a cross from Shaenon Williams, setting up a sliding goal by Clark from just inside the 6-yard box in the 34th minute.
Kendall Watson and Matias Laba were shown red cards, leaving Vancouver (14-10-3) down two men for nearly 30 minutes of action.
Rodriguez capped the scoring for Houston (9-10-8) in the 87th, putting away a corner kick by Brad Davis with a header from the right side of the 6-yard box to the far corner.
RAPIDS 2, SPORTING KC 1
COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (AP) - Kevin Doyle broke a tie in the 76th minute and Colorado held on to beat Sporting Kansas City for its third straight victory.
Vicente Sanchez's cross reached Doyle and his header from edge of the 6-yard box gave Colorado (8-9-9) the advantage. Sporting's Dominic Dwyer nearly tied it in the 87th minute, but Clint Irwin denied him from close range and the follow-up hit the post.
Dwyer opened the scoring in the 47th minute, and Maynor Figueroa tied it in the 53rd.
Kansas City (11-7-7) has lost three straight.
ORLANDO CITY 1, FIRE 1
ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Orlando City capitalized on Chicago's own goal to tie the Fire in a game delayed by lightning and rain.
Lewis Neal lobbed a pass into the center of the box for Cyle Larin that Chicago's Eric Gerhig attempted to clear, but his header slipped past goalkeeper Sean Johnson and tied it in the 37th minute.
David Accam dribbled from the end-line into the center of the box and fired a right-footer into the bottom-corner at the near post to give the Fire (7-13-6) a 1-0 lead about 7 minutes earlier.
Orlando City (7-12-8) took over sole possession of the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. Chicago is two points behind Orlando City, but also trails Montreal and New York City FC.
FC DALLAS 2, REAL SALT LAKE 0
FRSICO, Texas (AP) - Tesho Akindele and Fabian Castillo scored to help FC Dallas beat Real Salt Lake 2-0 on Saturday night.
Dallas (12-8-5) got on the board in the 51st minute on a dicey penalty in the area. Akindele seemed to lose footing, but Javier Morales was whistled for a tackle. He then earned a booking for arguing the call. Akindele buried the penalty shot. Castillo scored in the 79th minute.
Salt Lake (8-11-8) has lost four of five.
