Osage Beach man injured in head-on crash

An Osage Beach man received serious injuries after a head-on crash Friday afternoon in Miller County.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Evan F. Gamm, 28, of Osage Beach, was driving northbound on Blue Spring Drive, just north of Wedgewood Road, at about 4:50 p.m. Friday when he went across the center half of the road, striking a vehicle driven by Mikayla N. Elia, 16, of Lake Ozark, head on.

Gamm, who was not wearing a seat belt, received serious injuries and was transported to Lake Regional Hospital.

Elia received minor injuries, while her passenger, Brandon D. Blankenship, 18, of Linn Creek, received moderate injuries. Both were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash and were transported to Lake Regional Hospital.

• Two teens received minor injuries Friday evening after a vehicle overturned in Miller County.

According to the patrol, Dakota H. Arnold, 16, of Imperial, was driving westbound on Missouri 42, just west of Groves Road, at 8:50 p.m. Friday when he drove off the right side of the road, over-corrected, drove off the left side of the road and overturned several times.

Arnold and his passenger Alexa A. Stacy, 17, of Arnold, Missouri, received minor injuries and were transported to Lake Regional Hospital. Both were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
