ST. ELIZABETH, Mo. - Mychael Jett tossed a complete-game two-hitter Thursday to lead the Jefferson City Lady Jays to a 9-1 win against the St. Elizabeth Lady Hornets.
Jett struck out five in the victory.
Taylor Dey drove in three runs for Jefferson City, while Alexis Gilliland hit an inside-the-park home run and totaled two RBI. Ashton Glass had two hits.
St. Elizabeth's Regan Wilde was tabbed with the loss in the circle. Wilde and Sara Struemph went 1-3 at the plate for the Lady Hornets.
St. Elizabeth (0-2) will travel to take on Calvary today.
Jefferson City (3-0), which is averaging nearly 13 runs per game this season, is slated to be back in action today at Troy.
