COLUMBIA - The Columbia College women's soccer team defeated Doane College 3-0 on Friday.
Senior Kelli Westhues scored the first goal in the 20th minute to put the Cougars ahead. Sophomore Tiffany Weaver (Helias High School) found the back of the net in the 56th minute after striking her own rebounded shot off the goalkeeper to give the Cougars the 2-0 lead. Jordan Poire (Helias High School) added a third tally in the 62nd minute as she followed up a loose shot in the goal box.
