VIENNA, Mo. - Vienna defeated St. James on Tuesday, 4-1, behind a big day at the plate for Maddie Stricklan. Stricklan was 3-for-3 with a home run, a double and two RBI.
Kara Harker and Megan Wieberg added two hits apiece.
Freshman Jordyn Steffen was the winning pitcher, allowing six hits and walk and striking out five.
Vienna won the junior varsity game 5-1.
The varsity Lady Eagles (2-1) host Steelville on Thursday.
