Lady Crusaders volleyball dump Lady Tigers in opener

WAYNESVILLE, Mo. - The Helias Lady Crusaders swept all three levels in volleyball action Tuesday at Waynesville.

In the varsity match, Helias opened the season with a 25-12, 25-20 win against the Lady Tigers.

Ashley Dudenhoeffer dished out 17 assists in the win, while Blake Berhorst had 15 digs and Clarissa Fennessey had nine service points.

Also for the Lady Crusaders, Ellie Rockers led the way with eight kills, Hannah Borchelt had five kills and Hannah Eynard had three blocks.

In the JV match, Helias rolled to a 25-4, 25-21 victory.

Meagan Engelbrecht had seven kills for the Lady Crusaders, Amie Henson had 13 assists and Regan Bruns and Elisabeth Mealy had nine service points apiece.

Helias romped in the freshman match, winning 25-8, 25-4.

Jada Oldham had 13 points and five assists for Helias, while Olivia Farrow had 10 service points. Reagan Bernskoetter and Danielle Kroll had three kills each.

Helias will host Fatima on Thursday.
