ROSEMONT, Ill. (AP) - Allie Quigley hit a 3-pointer with 2.1 seconds left to give the Chicago Sky to an 87-85 victory over the Washington Mystics on Friday night.
After forcing a turnover on a jump ball won by Elena Delle Donne with 17.4 seconds left, Cappie Pondexter worked into the lane, found Courtney Vandersloot on the left wing and Vandersloot dribbled back across the free throw line before passing to Quigley on the right wing for the winning shot. Kara Lawson missed an off-balance 3-pointer from the right corner as time expired.
Quigley finished with 20 points. Delle Donne led the Sky (16-11) with 22 points.
Emma Meesseman led the Mystics (15-10) with 20 points.
LIBERTY 78, DREAM 67
NEW YORK (AP) - Tina Charles had 25 points and seven rebounds to lead New York past Atlanta for its sixth victory in seven games.
New York trailed by nine points midway through the third quarter, but closed on a 15-3 run to take a 54-51 lead. The Dream only made one field goal in the last 6 minutes of the quarter. Brittany Boyd's 3-pointer started New York's 9-2 spurt to open the fourth for a 10-point lead.
Epiphanny Prince made three 3-pointers and finished with 18 points for New York (18-7).
Tiffany Hayes led Atlanta (9-16) with 17 points.
SPARKS 78, MERCURY 68
PHOENIX (AP) - Candace Parker had 26 points and 10 rebounds, and Jantel Lavender added 15 points and 11 rebounds in Los Angeles' victory over Phoenix.
Kristi Toliver added 17 points for Los Angeles (9-17). Nneka Ogwumike missed her second straight game with concussion-like symptoms.
Brittney Griner scored 20 points, Candice Dupree added 15 and DeWanna Bonner 13 for Phoenix (15-11). The defending champion Mercury clinched a playoff spot with San Antonio's loss to Minnesota.
SHOCK 84, SUN 76, OT
TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Riquna Williams scored 22 points and Karima Christmas had six in overtime to help Tulsa beat Connecticut for its third straight victory.
Williams started the overtime with four straight points. Camille Little answered with a basket with 3:15 left, but Connecticut only made two free throws the rest of the way.
Odyssey Sims added 19 points for Tulsa (13-14) and Vicki Baugh had 14.
Jennifer Lacy led Connecticut (12-13) with 20 points.
LYNX 78, STARS 61
SAN ANTONIO (AP) - Maya Moore scored 10 of her 18 points during a 19-0 run in the third quarter when Minnesota outscored San Antonio 25-9.
Moore hit 4 of 6 3-pointers and also had seven assists and six rebounds to help the Lynx (19-8) end a two-game skid. Sylvia Fowles had 16 points and 12 rebounds, and Lindsay Whalen had 12 points and 10 assists. Anna Cruz, replacing injured Seimone Augustus, had 14 points.
Jia Perkins led San Antonio (7-20) with 16 points.
FEVER 75, STORM 63
SEATTLE (AP) - Shenise Johnson had 16 points and Indiana outscored Seattle 30-9 in the third quarter to roll to its franchise-record fourth straight win on the road.
Tamika Catchings and Lynetta Kizer added 14 points each for the Fever (16-9). They have won five straight overall and eight of nine.
Jewell Loyd had 15 points for the Storm (7-20). It was the last game for Seattle forward Ramu Tokashiki, who is joining the Japan national team in its bid to qualify for the Olympics.
