Owner promises to repair St. Louis building after collapse

ST. LOUIS (AP) - The owner of a St. Louis building where part of a five-story brick wall collapsed is pledging to find the cause and rebuild.

The building in the Laclede's Landing area near the Gateway Arch was badly damaged in the collapse on Wednesday. The building houses several restaurants, but people inside got out safely, and no one was hurt by falling bricks.

Owner Munsok So says told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch (http://bit.ly/1J2wRHv) that he's certain he will save the historic structure.

Engineers were on the scene Thursday. Officials don't know what caused the collapse.
