SIKESTON, Mo. (AP) - A Missouri restaurant known for tossing its dinner rolls at patrons is being sued by a St. Louis woman who claims one of the rolls injured her eye.
The Springfield News-Leader reports Troy Tucker is seeking at least $25,000 from Lambert's Cafe, which bills itself as the "Home of Throwed Rolls."
Tucker says in the lawsuit she suffered "serious and permanent personal injuries" when she sustained "a lacerated cornea" while dining at the Sikeston Lambert's location on Sept. 20, 2014. Tucker says she has incurred medical expenses of about $10,000 and "may have future medical expenses in an amount yet to be determined."
The lawsuit was filed Tuesday in Scott County.
Lambert's had not filed an answer to the lawsuit early Thursday, and a restaurant representative declined comment.
