Local man arrested for meth sale

A Jefferson City man is charged with selling methamphetamine to a MUSTANG Drug Task Force informant.

As of Tuesday, David Latham, 40, of 413 Donna Bella Place, was being held in the Cole County Jail on $200,000 bond.

Authorities said the sale occurred at Latham's residence.

Latham sold 3.5 grams of methamphetamine for $125.

He is considered a persistent drug offender with a federal conviction for conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent distribute marijuana in 2008 and a conviction in Missouri for possession of a controlled substance in 2005.
