LOS ANGELES (AP) - Crystal Langhorne scored 18 points, including a go-ahead layup with 2:34 remaining, and the Seattle Storm rallied to beat the Los Angeles Sparks 85-77 on Tuesday, spoiling Candace Parker's big night.
Parker had 12 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists - narrowly missing the WNBA's sixth triple-double. Margo Dydek, Lisa Leslie, Sheryl Swoopes, Deanna Nolan and Temeka Johnson are the only WNBA players with regular-seasons triple-doubles.
After Langhorne's layup, Jenna O'Hea hit a 3-pointer on Seattle's next possession and Langhorne had a putback to cap the Storm's 7-0 run for an 81-74 lead. After Kristi Toliver hit a 3-pointer to cut Los Angeles' deficit to 81-77, Jewell Loyd hit a fadeaway jumper with the shot clock winding down and O'Hea made two free throws with 24 seconds left.
Sue Bird, Jewell Loyd and Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis added 15 points apiece for Seattle (6-17). Mosqueda-Lewis scored 12 first-half points to set a career-high.
Seattle snapped a five-game losing streak and beat Los Angeles for the fourth straight time - including its only two road wins.
Jantel Lavender added 22 points and Nneka Ogwumike 16 for Los Angeles (7-16).
LYNX 93, STARS 76
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Maya Moore matched a season-high with 32 points and Minnesota clinched a playoff spot with a victory over San Antonio.
The Lynx (17-6) have won consecutive games since losing at Phoenix on Aug. 7 to stretch their Western Conference lead to 2 1/2 games over the Mercury. The Stars (7-17) have lost five of their last six games and are 0-12 on the road.
Minnesota's Lindsay Whalen had nine assists, and is third in WNBA history with 2,001.
The Stars led 48-37 early in the third quarter. Moore, who was held to just eight points in the first half, scored 12 of Minnesota's 30 third-quarter points to give the Lynx a 65-59 lead.
Kayla McBride hit a 3-pointer to pull the Stars to 79-76 with 23 seconds left before Moore made four free throws to seal it.
LIBERTY 84, SKY 63
NEW YORK (AP) - Epiphanny Prince scored 22 points and New York beat Chicago for its eighth victory in nine games.
Prince was 9 of 13 from the field against her former team. She had a season-high 30 points at Chicago on Aug. 7.
Chicago was without WNBA scoring leader Elena Delle Donne, who sat on the sideline in a walking boot after injuring her ankle Sunday against Phoenix. Delle Donne was injured in second quarter, but remained in the game and scored 23 of her 33 points in the second half.
Kiah Stokes had a career-high 13 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for New York (15-6), which beat Chicago for the third straight time after losing 10 straight.
Cappie Pondexter, playing in New York for the first time since being trade for Prince in the offseason, led Chicago (14-10) with 23 points. Pondexter was a three-time All-Star in five seasons with the Liberty.
FEVER 73, MYSTICS 62
WASHINGTON (AP) - Tamika Catchings scored 10 of her 20 points in the fourth quarter and Indiana beat Washington for its fifth victory in six games since the All-Star break.
The Fever (13-9) are tied for second in the Eastern Conference with the Mystics (13-9) and Chicago, 2 1/2 games behind New York.
Catchings also had six rebounds to move within one of Tina Thompson (3,070) for second in WNBA history.
Ivory Latta hit a 3-pointer to pull the Mystics to 63-54 with 3:58 left. Catchings answered with a 19-foot jumper, and the Fever cruised from there to even the season series 2-2 and end the Mystics' home winning streak at five.
