Area residents hurt in 4 accidents

A Fulton teen was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 4:10 p.m. Thursday on Route J at County Road 347 in Callaway County.

According to the Highway Patrol, a 2001 Honda Civic, driven southbound by Brianna Cavins, 19, traveled off the east side of the road and overturned.

Cavins was taken to University Hospital.

She was not wearing a seat belt.

• A Lake Ozark man was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 3:30 p.m. Thursday on Velvet Antler Road south of Missouri 7 on Camden County.

The patrol reported a 1999 Harley Davidson, driven southbound by Patrick E. Callahan, 52, traveled off the right side of the road and struck a ditch.

Callahan was taken to University Hospital.

He was wearing a safety device.

• A Camdenton man was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 5:20 a.m. Friday on Missouri 5 south of Billingsville in Cooper County.

According to the patrol report, a 2001 Ford Taurus, driven northbound by Christopher M. Cady, 18, of Gravois Mills, struck a deer and traveled off the left side of the road, striking a ditch and coming to rest in a field.

A passenger, Dustin R. Thomas, 20, of Camdenton, was taken by private vehicle to Lake Regional Hospital.

Neither were wearing seat belts.

• A Belle woman was treated for minor injuries after a two-vehicle accident Friday in Osage County.

Patrol reports show the accident occurred at 12:40 p.m. on Missouri 89 at Rohrer Drive.

Calah Wortman-Tackett, 17, of Belle, failed to yield to a vehicle driven by Brian Lowe, 41, of Marshfield.

Lowe had no reported injuries.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
