TORONTO (AP) - Sebastian Giovinco scored three goals to take the MLS lead and break Toronto FC's single-season record, leading the Canadian team to a 4-1 victory over Orlando City on Wednesday night.

The 5-foot-4 Italian known as the Atomic Ant has 16 goals this season, one more than Columbus' Kei Kamara. Giovinco broke the Toronto season record of 15 set by Dwayne De Rosario in 2010.

With 10 assists, Giovinco has been directly involved in 26 of Toronto's 36 goals this season.

Collen Warner also scored for Toronto (9-8-4).

Luke Boden scored for expansion Orlando (7-10-6).

RED BULLS 1, IMPACT 1, TIE

MONTREAL (AP) - Lloyd Sam scored early in the second half and New York tied 10-man Montreal.

Sam scored in the 52nd for New York (9-6-6), putting in Mike Grella's lobbed pass. The Red Bulls have a four-game unbeaten streak.

Dominic Oduro scored for Montreal (8-8-4), which lost star defender Laurent Ciman to a second yellow card in the 79th minute. Montreal is 6-1-1 in its last eight home games.
