Trio of injury accidents include DWI arrest

A Wardsville man was arrested for DWI following a Sunday afternoon crash in Cole County.

Missouri Highway Patrol reports show the accident occurred at Tanner Bridge Spur and Route B around 12:40 p.m.

Lance Kethchum, 30, Paris, turned into the path of Dustin Kremer, 23, Wardsville.

Kremer was arrested for driving while intoxicated-prior, but released for medical treatment.

Ketchum was treated for moderate injuries and Kremer was treated for serious injuries.

Both men were wearing their safety devices.

• A couple from Fulton were injured when they crashed their motorcycle Sunday morning in Cooper County.

Patrol reports show the accident occurred on Route U, near Clark's Ford Road, at 10:09 a.m.

Edwin Erickson, 59 and his wife, Kathy, 59, ran off the right side of the road and overturned. Both were thrown off the motorcycle, which ended up in a ditch.

Edwin was treated for moderate injuries and Kathy was treated for minor injuries.

Both were wearing their safety devices.

• Three people were hurt in a two-vehicle accident Sunday night in Morgan County.

Patrol reports show the accident occurred at Beacon Road, just south of Beacon Lane, at 7:17 p.m.

Koby Seibert, 18, Barnett, began to skid and crossed the center line, striking a vehicle driven by Victor Taylor Jr., 25, Olean.

Taylor and two passengers, Debra Taylor, 27, Eldon, and Destanie Ishum, 19, Brownstown, Ill., all refused treatment for minor injuries and all were wearing their seat belts.

Seibert had no reported injuries, but it was unknown if he was wearing a seat belt.
