A Mokane man was killed in a two-vehicle accident Sunday morning in Callaway County.
Missouri Highway Patrol reports show the accident occurred on Route BB at Old U.S. 54 at 8:47 a.m.
Billie Lister, 62, Mokane, failed to yield to a vehicle driven by Eric Davis, 31, New Bloomfield. This caused Davis's vehicle to strike Lister's vehicle.
Following the impact, Lister's vehicle overturned, traveled off the west side of the road and came to rest.
Lister, who was wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Davis, who was not wearing a seat belt, was treated for moderate injuries.
Other passengers in the Davis vehicle included:
• Tausha Davis, 37, who also was not wearing a seat belt, and was treated for serious injuries.
• Kaylee Daniels, 10, Macie Davis, 9, and Kynsie Herron, 9, all of whom were wearing their seat belts and were treated for minor injuries.
