Track and Field: Shea wins two events

HERMANN, Mo. - Kaitlyn Shea captured two events Tuesday as the Helias Lady Crusaders captured team honors at the Hermann Invitational.

Shea was first in the 1,600- and 3,200-meter runs as Helias finished with 130 points in the 12-team event.

The Lady Crusaders won four other events. Erica Haslag was first in the high jump, while Emma Albertson won the shot put. Helias also was first in the 4x100- and 4x800-meter relays.

Chamois was eighth in the girls standings with 29 points, one better than Linn.

On the boys side, Helias finished fifth with 58 points. Elliot Knernschield of the Crusaders was first in the 1600-meter run.

Linn was seventh in the boys standings with 51.5 points. Chamois tied for eighth with 36.
